| | NSMDC CEDP Business Networking Workshop Hello Everyone,
I am writing to invite you and others to the second “NSMDC CEDP – Business Networking
Workshop” planned for October 20 & 21, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Moncton. This one
and a half day event will bring us all together to continue the successful workshops we have hosted
the last couple years. The first day will start at 1:00 PM on October 20 and day two starts at 9:00

| | Igniting Our Spirit “I know the work you do here is important,” said Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick, Graydon Nicholas. Mr. Nicholas is standing in front of a crowd of nearly 200 people at the Igniting Our Spirit conference in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia as he spoke of the important role child care professionals play within First Nation Communities. The three-day conference began on the 23rd of March, when Elder Madeline Martin opened the conference by saying the Our Father prayer in Mi’kmaq. Download (5916 kb) |

| | NSMDC Open House The North Shore MicMac District Council Inc. (NSMDC) along with Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) and Department of Fisheries & Oceans (DFO) are pleased to invite you to attend an “Open House” and formal launch of two innovative training programs funded under the “Skills and Partnership Fund” on the Eel Ground First Nation. This event will bring important partners and government agencies together for a number of announcements regarding some of the successful initiatives that we are pleased to make official. NSMDC is a tribal council which provides services to our seven Mi'kmaq communities in North Eastern New Brunswick along with assorted technical and advisory services to First Nation communities throughout the Atlantic.
