NSMDC Trades Orientation Training

The North Shore Micmac District Council will be offering Trades Orientation Training to affiliated First Nations (see First Nations list on left). The program will have 40 weeks trades training followed by 10 weeks of job placement. Training will host 14 aboriginal students and course will be offered twice - August 2, 2011 and September (approx.) 2012.
We are currently accepting applicants for program year two, and the deadline to apply is May 31, 2012 (apply now). We are looking for serious, responsible applicants who are looking to pursue a career in trades.
Students will receive a training allowance of $400/week and will be expected to keep excellent attendance.
